Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 30, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how GrowMore Devs (“we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use the Soundlu iOS app and the website at https://soundlu.com (together, the “Service”). Soundlu is an AI music generator that turns text prompts and preferences into songs, lyrics, and related media.
By using the Service, you agree to this Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use Soundlu. Questions:growmoredevs@gmail.com.
1. Who we are
Soundlu is operated by GrowMore Devs (Lahore, Pakistan). Contact us atgrowmoredevs@gmail.com.
2. Information we collect
Depending on how you use Soundlu, we may collect:
- Device and install identifiers. On first launch we may create a silent device-linked user ID (for example an install hash or similar identifier) so you can generate music without signing up.
- Account information (optional). If you link an account (Sign in with Apple, Google, or email), we receive identifiers and profile details those providers share with us (such as an email address or name, subject to your provider settings).
- Generation and content data. Prompts, genre/vibe/language preferences, lyrics, generated audio, cover art, music videos, stems, library metadata, and songs you choose to publish or share.
- Purchase and subscription status. We do not receive your full payment card number. Apple processes payments. We (and subscription tooling such as RevenueCat / StoreKit) receive purchase and entitlement status needed to unlock Pro features and restore purchases.
- Usage and diagnostics. App interactions, feature usage, crash reports, performance logs, and similar analytics that help us understand reliability and improve the product.
- Device and technical data. Device model, OS version, app version, language/locale, approximate region, and network/request metadata needed to operate APIs (for example via api.soundlu.com).
- Support communications. Content you send when you email us for help, restore purchases, or request data deletion.
- Website data. On soundlu.com we may use privacy-respecting, cookie-light or cookie-free analytics and standard server logs (IP address, user agent, referrer, pages viewed).
We do not require you to create an account to try the app. We do not intentionally collect precise GPS location or contact lists.
3. How we use information
We use the information above to:
- Provide, operate, and improve music generation, playback, library, sharing, and Pro features
- Authenticate optional accounts and sync content across devices when you opt in
- Process and validate in-app purchases and subscriptions
- Personalize recommendations and onboarding where relevant
- Monitor abuse, enforce our Terms, and protect the Service and other users
- Respond to support requests and legal obligations
- Analyze aggregate usage to improve quality, latency, and product decisions
We may use prompts and generation metadata to operate and improve the Service (including model/pipeline quality), subject to reasonable safeguards. We do not sell your personal information.
4. Generated audio and public sharing
Content associated with your device or account is stored so you can play, download (where available), and manage your library. If you publish or share a song, that content (and related metadata such as title or cover) may become visible to others according to the sharing path you choose. You control whether to make a track public; private library items are not exposed as public shares by default.
5. Third parties and SDKs
We share data with service providers only as needed to run Soundlu, including:
- Apple — App Store, Sign in with Apple, StoreKit / In-App Purchase processing
- RevenueCat (or similar) — subscription status and receipt validation
- Cloud hosting / API infrastructure — storing and serving generations and app APIs
- Analytics / crash reporting — product and reliability insights
- Sign-in providers — Apple, Google, or email when you choose to link an account
These providers process data under their own terms and privacy policies. We do not allow them to use your data for their own unrelated marketing where we control the relationship. Payment card details stay with Apple; we never store your full card number.
6. Children’s privacy
Soundlu is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us personal information, contactgrowmoredevs@gmail.com and we will take reasonable steps to delete it. If you are between 13 and the age of majority where you live, use the Service only with a parent or guardian’s permission where required.
7. Retention
We retain information for as long as needed to provide the Service, maintain your library and entitlements, comply with law, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Device-linked libraries may persist until you request deletion or the account/device record is otherwise closed. Support emails are kept as long as reasonably necessary for customer service and record-keeping. When data is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it where feasible.
8. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect information (for example encrypted transport via HTTPS and access controls on production systems). No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate information
- Request deletion of personal data and associated generations where feasible
- Object to or restrict certain processing, or request a portable copy of data we hold
To exercise these rights, email growmoredevs@gmail.com with the subject “Privacy request”. Include enough detail for us to locate your account or device record (for example a linked email, handle, or description of the device). We may need to verify your request before acting. You can also unlink or manage Sign in with Apple / Google settings with those providers, and manage subscriptions in iPhone Settings › Apple ID › Subscriptions.
We do not claim to operate a dedicated GDPR Data Protection Officer. If applicable law gives you additional rights, we will honor valid requests to the extent required.
10. International processing
We are based in Pakistan and may process and store information on servers in other countries (including where our hosting or AI/infrastructure providers operate). Those locations may have different data-protection laws than your home country. By using the Service you understand that your information may be transferred internationally as described in this Policy.
11. Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised version on this page and update the “Last updated” date. Continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy where permitted by law.
